Amuneal Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an Application/Sales Engineer to serve as the single point of contact for customers, guiding them through technical development of shielding designs, price estimates, engineering support, and lifecycle service.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and fabrication teams, translating technical info for customers, and participating in marketing, trade shows, and customer visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or other technical field.
• Technical understanding of magnetic shielding and materials science preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand fabrication specifications.
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Proven sales or customer service experience in a technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, Excel and other digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in theories and fabrication techniques used to design and manufacture our custom magnetic shielding.
• Develop shielding strategies and accurate cost estimates based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and fabrication teams to foster collaboration.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
• Translate technical product information into customer-friendly language and drawings.
• Work with production and operations to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Represent Amuneal in marketing and selling activities, including customer visits and trade shows.
• Provide customer feedback to aid product development and improvements.
