Job summary

The Technical Sales Rep role supports distributors with technical information, responses to inquiries, and quotes, reporting to the Technical Support Manager in the Hydraulic Actuator Division.
The position emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and collaboration with engineering and product teams to optimize margins and deliver high-quality products and services.
Qualifications
- College Degree required.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Two to four years customer service experience necessary.
Responsibilities
- Review and respond to customer inquiries
- Prepare requests for cost estimates on non-standard products.
- Assist in negotiating Long-Term Pricing Agreements.
- Recognize and pursue opportunities to maximize margins within manufacturing abilities.
- Clarify policies and procedures such as condition of sale and pricing structure.
- Provide technical information to distributors which appear in our catalogs or as advised by engineering, product managers, and/or technical services.
- Formulate and enter quotes on-line and maintain supporting documentation such as cost estimating print-off, customer drawings and specifications, and divisional drawings and specifications.
- Assist outside sales personnel and co-workers as needed.
