Responsibilities

  • Review and respond to customer inquiries
  • Prepare requests for cost estimates on non-standard products.
  • Assist in negotiating Long-Term Pricing Agreements.
  • Recognize and pursue opportunities to maximize margins within manufacturing abilities.
  • Clarify policies and procedures such as condition of sale and pricing structure.
  • Provide technical information to distributors which appear in our catalogs or as advised by engineering, product managers, and/or technical services.
  • Formulate and enter quotes on-line and maintain supporting documentation such as cost estimating print-off, customer drawings and specifications, and divisional drawings and specifications.
  • Assist outside sales personnel and co-workers as needed.

The Hydraulic Actuator Division is looking for a Technical Sales Rep. The position will be located at our Des Plaines, IL location and will report to the Technical Support Manager, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in Customer Service or working to gain additional experience in this field. We're looking for team players to provide our customers with high-quality products, systems and services across a wide range of industries. Your responsibilities
  • Review and respond to customer inquiries

Who we are looking for
  • College Degree required

Ideally, you will also have
  • The ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Excel.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or other customer systems preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to using new systems and office equipment as well as learning existing systems

Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $63290 to $98635 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
