Job summary

Amphenol Canada Corp. is seeking a Business Development Engineer in the Pasadena/Mesa region to design customer proposals, review specs, and develop cost matrices for new and existing programs. You will work with field sales and internal teams to win designs and grow orders.

The ideal candidate combines mechanical engineering know-how with strong communication and presentation skills, is comfortable with travel, and can manage fast proposals under pressure.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in BD/engineering
• MS Office and design software experience (SolidWorks or similar)
• Knowledge of cost and selling price
• No restrictions on international travel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Mechanical engineering or technologist background preferred

Responsibilities

• Design proposals for customers
• Review customer specifications
• Generate cost matrix and present to management
• Launch new programs or products
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, purchasing and new programs coordinator
• Travel with sales team to increase business in region
• Identify and analyze potential new markets/customers for new and/or existing products
