Job summary

Steven Label is seeking a highly technical and customer-focused Sales Engineer to serve as the primary technical interface between customers, Business Development, Estimating, Engineering, Customer Service, and Manufacturing. This role owns the resolution of technical questions, product challenges, specification reviews, manufacturing concerns and customer issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or engineering, preferably in technical sales.
• Proven customer-facing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years coordinating projects from cradle to grave.
• ERP experience required.
• Experience in printing, labels, medical devices, or regulated manufacturing preferred.
• ISO 13485 experience preferred but not required.
• Fluent in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact after order and oversee inquiries to resolution.
• Collaborate with Business Development on visits, presentations, and technical reviews.
• Bridge between customers and internal operations; coordinate with Estimating for quotes.
• Support design-for-manufacture discussions and manufacturability reviews.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to track projects and deliverables.
• Maintain predictable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
