Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Technical Sales Development Representative to join our field engineering team. You will oversee end-to-end technical tasks, including product samples, lifecycle management, and addressing technical questions from customers.

This role emphasizes an automation-first mindset and may lead to a full-time FAE career for high performers. Strong communication and problem-solving will be essential to coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or science.
3+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication to coordinate between customers and internal teams.
Ability to adapt to changing technology, roadmaps, and lifecycle dates.
Basic understanding of memory or storage technologies to assist with technical questions and configuration requests.

Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end technical product samples from configuration to customer validation.
Track technical product processes across multiple customer accounts.
Serve as a contact for technical product inquiries and resolve standard questions; raise complex issues for deeper analysis.
Maintain and update technical product documentation, qualification statuses, and project data.
Assist Field Application Engineers during design cycles and qualifications; manage logistics and materials.
Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve process efficiency.
