Job summary

Compass is seeking a Technical Recruiter to lead talent acquisition for Engineering, Data, and Product teams in office-based Austin, TX. You will own sourcing strategies, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and partner with hiring managers to build world-class teams.

You'll source active and passive candidates through referrals, networks, and research, promote the Compass brand, and help drive a positive interview experience using AI tools and modern recruiting workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing engineers.
• Experience managing technical candidate pipelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
• B.A. or B.S. with a strong academic record.
• Must be able to multi-task and manage a robust/full pipeline with efficiency.
• Experience with Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment life cycle by sourcing, reviewing resumes, coordinating screenings and interviews.
• Assist in determining the suitability of applicants for employment across engineering, data and product.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates through referrals, networking, internal databases, and research tactics.
• Communicate with candidates professionally and be responsive throughout the process.
• Promote Compass brand and attract qualified candidates using modern recruiting workflows.
