Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Full-Cycle Technical Recruiters to work at our customer to support the growth of a Data Center business across the United States. This role will focus on recruiting highly skilled Field Service Engineers and related technical professionals who support mission-critical infrastructure, including high-voltage power systems, cooling systems, and UPS environments.
The successful candidate will manage the complete recruiting lifecycle, from workforce intake and sourcing through offer negotiation, onboarding coordination, and post-hire follow-up. This position requires strong technical recruiting expertise, the ability to engage in specialized engineering talent, and a thorough understanding of the demands of mission-critical data center operations.
This role will be based on-site or hybrid in Plano, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Partners with hiring managers and TA business leads to understand workforce plans, technical requirements, and staffing priorities.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies for Field Service Engineers and other technical roles across the United States.
- Manage the recruiting process from job intake through sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain qualified talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Provide regular recruiting updates, market insights, pipeline reports, and hiring recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure positive, timely, and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, technical leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Conduct reference checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment activities as required.
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to support successful onboarding and new-hire integration.
Technical Recruiting
- Source and recruit candidates with experience in:
- High-voltage electrical power systems
- UPS systems and power distribution equipment
- Data center electrical infrastructure
- Cooling and thermal management systems
- Mission-critical facilities
- Field service, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Electrical, controls, mechanical, or facilities engineering
- Evaluate technical qualifications, field experience, certifications, and safety backgrounds.
- Translate complex technical requirements into effective job postings and candidate outreach campaigns.
- Build relationships with passive candidates and specialized engineering talent in competitive markets.
- Develop talent pipelines across major U.S. data center and technology markets.
- Support recruitment for roles that may require extensive travel, on-call support, customer-site work, or work in controlled and high-risk environments.
Stakeholder and Process Management
- Serve as a trusted recruiting advisor to hiring managers.
- Establish clear candidate profiles, interview criteria, and selection processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the applicant tracking system.
- Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health, offer acceptance, and diversity outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and candidate engagement.
- Represent Delta Electronics at recruiting events and professional networking forums.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical, engineering, field service, or skilled trades hiring.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for one or more of the following:
- Data centers
- Mission-critical facilities
- UPS or critical power systems
- Electrical power distribution
- HVAC, cooling, or thermal management
- Industrial automation or controls
- Semiconductor, telecommunications, or infrastructure services
- Experience recruiting candidates across multiple geographic markets in the United States.
- Strong sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, job boards, professional associations, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Ability to conduct meaningful technical screens and assess transferable technical experience.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices and employment compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking or candidate relationship management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting Field Service Engineers supporting UPS, switchgear, generators, power distribution, or other critical power infrastructure.
- Familiarity with high-voltage safety, electrical commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting environments.
- Experience recruiting candidates who hold certifications such as:
- Electrical or engineering licenses
- NFPA 70E training
- OSHA or safety certifications
- OEM-specific UPS or power systems certifications
- HVAC or refrigeration certifications
- Data center or mission-critical facilities credentials
- Experience supporting rapid growth, new market expansion, or geographically distributed field service organizations.
- Understanding of data center construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and service environments.
- Experience recruiting military veterans or candidates transitioning from electrical, power generation, aviation, industrial, or technical military specialties.
