PlanIT Group, a fast-growing IT consulting and staffing company, seeks a Resource Manager to cultivate relationships with IT consultants and place them with clients across industries. You will qualify candidates, negotiate rates, and secure commitment for assignments.

Responsibilities include sourcing strategies, maintaining records in the ATS, evaluating technical skills, and guiding candidates through submittals, interviews, and hires.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or associate degree with relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of recruiting experience.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

The Resource Manager is responsible for developing relationships with IT and technical consultants to place them on assignment with the company’s clients. The company relies on the judgment of the Resource Manager to accurately qualify the candidates, negotiate rates, and secure the candidate’s commitment to take the assignment. The Resource Manager also maintains and further develops relationships with the IT consultants to build a long-lasting commitment with the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop strategies to locate and source qualified candidates for clients across a variety of industries and sectors.
• Deliver high quality service to clients and candidates by match applicants’ skills with client needs.
• Add and maintain candidate records in the company’s Applicant Tracking System relating to conversations, activities, interviews, submittals, and placements.
• Assess candidate technical skills and competency to perform the tasks of a given job requisition. Assess candidate ability to fit the environment of a given job requisition.
• Maintain candidates through the submittal/interview/hire process.
• Secure a mutually beneficial rate of pay for the consultant and the company.
• Develop long-term relationships with consultants while out on contract with the client manager.
• Handle any questions or concerns relating to the assignment and relaying information to the Account Manager.
• Coach candidates and provide customer service throughout the duration of the assignment, including managing day-to-day problems and issues.
• Complete all employment paperwork related to starting, changing, and terminating consultants accurately and in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field or associate degree and related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting.
• Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Office 365 products, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
