ASSA ABLOY Door Group in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Technical Project Manager focused on Specialized Openings and Integrated Solutions. This role serves as a key link between customers, internal teams, and project stakeholders, driving accurate, efficient delivery from concept through installation.

You will lead submittals, shop drawings, schedules, and issue resolution, coordinating with distributors, contractors and architects to ensure constructability and on-time delivery while pursuing

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in commercial construction, pre-fabricated construction building materials, doors, frames, hardware, demountable walls, project management, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
• Strong problem-solving skills with proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and execution of submittal packages ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
• Coordinate and support shop drawing development for constructability and field alignment.
• Manage and maintain project schedules, identifying risks and driving on-time delivery.
• Oversee order coordination from submittals to production readiness.
• Support order entry with clear handoffs and milestone alignment.
