Job summary

Cobham Satcom in Concord, California, is seeking a motivated Technical Project Manager to support the Engineering Project Management function in initiation, planning, and execution of engineering tasks across antenna tracking systems.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Mechanical, RF, Software, and Systems Engineers to coordinate projects, maintain documentation, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a multidisciplinary R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Technology, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years in Technical Project Management focused on product development or NPI.
• Experience partnering with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams.
• Able to work on-site at the Concord, CA location.

Responsibilities

• Support TPMs in planning, scheduling, and tracking project deliverables.
• Coordinate documentation, blockers, and action items with stakeholders.
• Assist in transitioning paper designs to functional hardware and manage test environments.
• Provide administrative support and contribute to process improvements.
