Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of project management in biotech or life sciences.
• Bachelor’s in engineering or science; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• PMP or SAFe/Agile Certification required.
• Experience taking a product from concept to launch.
• Onsite in San Carlos, CA, 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical team to a successful first commercial launch across technical and commercial functions.
• Define project scope, objectives, and quarterly goals aligned with company goals.
• Develop plans, milestones, and deliverables from concept to product release.
• Create and manage detailed project schedules with team leads.
• Collaborate to translate technical risks into actionable plans.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to meet milestones.
• Facilitate prioritization and tradeoffs with commercial impact.
• Communicate project status to senior management.
• Own the integrated commercial launch plan bridging R&D, Operations, Commercial, Service.
• Translate customer requirements and market timing into priorities.
• Manage interface between development milestones and customer dates.
• Drive transition from development to sustaining with clear handoffs.
