ASSA ABLOY Door Group in Paramus, NJ seeks a Technical Project Manager focused on Specialized Openings and Integrated Solutions. You will own submittals, shop drawings, scheduling, and coordination with contractors, architects, and distributors to ensure on-time delivery of hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in commercial construction and are proficient with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Procore.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in commercial construction, pre-fabricated construction building materials, doors, frames, hardware, or related field.
• Strong experience with submittal preparation and review, shop drawings, and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, door schedules, and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar programs and familiarity with Procore or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and execution of submittal packages with accuracy and alignment to project specs.
• Coordinate and support shop drawing development for constructability and field alignment.
• Manage project schedules and identify risks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee order coordination from submittals to production readiness.
• Support post-order resolution with internal teams for clear handoffs.
