Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Santa Clara, CA is hiring a Technical Project Manager/Program Management to lead end-to-end, cross-functional programs. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and business stakeholders to drive alignment, manage risk, and deliver complex technical initiatives on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4–7 years in technical program management, with strong planning, risk management, and communication

Qualifications

• 4 - 7 years of experience in technical program/project management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning multiple stakeholders.
• Strong ability to build/manage project plans, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Experience supporting complex new product development or technical programs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and build consensus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program execution for new product development initiatives from concept through launch readiness.
• Drive projects through the phase-gate development process with milestones, deliverables, risks, and decisions.
• Create and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, dependencies, and risk strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and business stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues.
• Lead project reviews and clearly communicate status, risks, mitigation plans, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Track deliverables via dashboards, action-item logs, reports, and checklists to ensure accountability.
• Identify program obstacles, analyze root causes, and drive cross-functional solutions to keep development on track.
• Navigate tradeoffs around scope, schedule, cost, and technical execution.
• Monitor project cost performance and support alignment with financial/operational objectives.
• Contribute to process improvements that strengthen execution and outcomes.
