Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. seeks a Technical Project/Program Manager III to lead cross-functional programs in high-tech manufacturing and software operations across Santa Clara and Austin.

You will plan, schedule, and drive initiatives that improve quality and performance while coordinating with diverse teams. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 4–7 years in program management within high-tech sectors, and familiarity with quality systems and PM tools.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years in high tech/industrial sectors with program/project management experience.
• Prior work in Quality, Quality Management Systems, Quality Audit/Assessment preferred.
• AI/ML experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple programs/projects to support cross-functional teams and improve quality across Applied Materials' global supply chain.
• Develops project plans and oversees from conception to implementation, including strategies, processes, and resources.
• Interfaces with internal customers and provides status reports to management and stakeholders.
• Uses project management software (e.g., Jira, SmartSheet, MS Project) to track schedules and tasks.
• Identifies and resolves potential complications within programs and develops effective solutions.
• Develops and improves business processes, dashboards, metrics and applications for supply chain quality.
• Contributes to the organization strategy and Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and provides expertise to teams.
