Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Wealth-management lending platform.

You will work with the Technical Delivery team and align with Business Stakeholders across Wealth Lending, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Legal. Responsibilities include end-to-end delivery, cross-functional leadership, and translating complex rules into technical specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of technical project management experience delivering software solutions in FinTech/banking/financial services.
• Solid understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), microservices, CI/CD, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with financial regulations, lending operations, data security standards, and risk management.
• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and tracking tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of lending platform features, including API integrations and automated underwriting workflows.
• Coordinate daily with engineers, product managers, cybersecurity, infrastructure and delivery compliance teams to track SDLC progress.
• Translate complex business rules into actionable technical specifications for dev teams and stakeholders.
• Identify technical bottlenecks, manage dependencies, and build risk mitigation plans.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain backlogs with metrics using Rally, Jira, or Azure DevOps.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Duration: 12 months+
Location: Atlanta GA or Charlotte NC
Required Pay Scale: $80-$85/hr W2 only, Not eligible for C2C options

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Wealth-management lending platform. Day-to-day, you will support the Technical Delivery team (Solution Architect, Developers, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst and Product Owners). Likewise, you will ensure alignment with our business stakeholders (Wealth Lending, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal and Audit). The ideal candidate must have extensive Test Lead or Test Manager experience.
Project Details:
1. End-to-End Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of lending platform features, including API integrations, automated underwriting workflows, and third-party vendor tools.
2. Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate daily with software engineers, product managers, cybersecurity, infrastructure and delivery compliance teams to track progress against the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
3. Technical Translation: Translate complex business rules and regulatory requirements into actionable technical specifications for dev teams and explain technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
4. Risk & Dependency Management: Identify technical bottlenecks, manage program dependencies and build mitigation plans for project risks.
5. Agile Execution: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe), coordinate with Product Manager/Product Owner to maintain backlogs, and track delivery metrics using project management tools like Rally, Jira or Azure DevOp

Must Haves
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: 10+ years of technical project management experience delivering software solutions within the FinTech, banking, or financial services (BFSI) sectors, specifically involving loan origination systems (LOS) or lending platforms.
3. Technical Fluency: Solid understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and API integrations.
4. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations, lending operations, data security standards, and risk management practices.
5. Agile Mastery: Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and tracking tools.
6. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
