Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking an experienced contract Program Manager to support beta validation programs during the product development cycle. You will lead cross-functional efforts to validate customer experiences, coordinate readiness plans, and troubleshoot issues to maintain feedback flow.

This role requires strong multitasking, superb communication, and a hands-on approach. Onboarding to beta testing tools will be provided to ensure smooth program execution.

Job description

The Beta and Trials team within the Fortune 5 Client's team is seeking an experienced contract Program Manager to support the execution of beta validation programs during the product development cycle.

SCOPE OF WORK

The contract Program Manager will:

• Support the build-out and execution of beta programs to validate the customer experience for the products during the product development cycle
• Collaborate with end users and internal teams to support the development and execution of the beta program launch readiness plan
• Serve as a hands‑on contributor to troubleshoot issues, resolve problems, and maintain the flow of customer feedback
• Identify and recommend process improvements within the scope of the assigned beta program
• Track and communicate program status, and independently drive issues to resolution within the engagement period
• Coordinate across teams to ensure beta program milestones are met

TOOL & SYSTEMS ONBOARDING

Upon engagement, the contract PM will receive task‑specific onboarding on Fortune 5 Client‑developed beta testing tools and systems required to perform the assigned duties. This onboarding is limited to operational orientation necessary for executing the defined scope of work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Program management and software testing experience
• Strong ability to prioritize and multitask across concurrent workstreams
• Excellent interpersonal skills with experience coordinating across global teams
• Willingness to take a hands‑on approach to troubleshooting and problem‑solving
• Ability to learn and understand new technology quickly

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 1+ years of product (software or hardware) development experience
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in cross‑functional program management (in an operations or technical discipline)
• Strong data analysis skills with tools like QuickSight, Excel, or similar
• Familiarity with using and troubleshooting consumer electronics devices
• Proven ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
• Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common‑sense approach to getting things done

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $71/hour - $77/hour.
