Job Title: IT OMS Technical Project Manager

Location: SFO or San Jose or Rocklin or Las Vegas or Dallas or Memphis or Brooklyn

Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-oriented and technically proficient IT OMS Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of our Order Management System (OMS). The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in OMS platforms (such as Manhattan, IBM Sterling, Salesforce Order Management, or similar), strong project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally across business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end OMS implementation and enhancement projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, milestones, risk assessments, and budgets.

• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and OMS platform providers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

• Track project progress using tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar.

• Serve as the technical lead for OMS architecture, integration, and development initiatives.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure engineers to ensure scalable and resilient OMS design.

• Review and approve technical documentation, system design specs, and API specifications.

• Ensure integration of OMS with ERP, CRM, WMS, POS, and eCommerce platforms.

• Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders, providing transparency on risks, issues, and deliverables.

• Evaluate OMS platform capabilities, conduct gap analyses, and recommend system enhancements or configurations.

• Ensure vendor SLAs and SOWs are met.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3+ years focused on OMS implementations.

• Proven experience with leading OMS platforms such as Manhattan, IBM Sterling, Salesforce OMS, Oracle OMS, or Fluent Commerce.

• Experience in eCommerce, retail, or supply chain environments is highly preferred.
