Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead multiple technical projects in a software-driven defense portfolio. Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, staffing, risk management, and customer coordination.

Travel to customer locations is required. You will work with software, systems engineering, cybersecurity, IT, and contracts teams, driving execution from requirements through delivery while aligning with program objectives and DoD standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS or related tech field with 4–8 years of experience.
• Experience leading technical projects, engineering activities, software development or cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Linux environments and scripting; containerized software experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of multiple technical projects and task orders within a software-intensive defense portfolio.
• Collaborate with government customers and internal leaders to define requirements and priorities, travel as needed.
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans to align with objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams across software, systems, cybersecurity, IT, test, and contracts.
• Monitor performance against baselines; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver regular reviews to customers and leadership; communicate milestones and actions.
• Manage software development lifecycle, including requirements, backlog, testing, integration, and deployment.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable priorities for development teams.
