Convergint is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to join our Centennial team. You will support the Project Manager with planning, scheduling and directing project activities, including application engineering, to deliver on time and within budget.

This role emphasizes customer interface, cash flow management, and risk mitigation. We value growth-minded individuals who can mentor others and contribute to our safety- and service-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Basic project management experience in a technical environment.
• Developing project financial skills.
• Leadership orientation and ability to mentor others.
• Strong MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, organizing and directing, and application engineering for assigned projects.
• Ensures projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules.
• Ensures positive cash flow on all assigned projects.
• Acts as key interface with the customer and maximizes customer satisfaction.
• Identifies potential project risks and assists to develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and develop and implement strategies for controlling deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
• Utilizes financial systems to review actual vs. estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate project cost reports.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
