Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary programs in our Data Centers org. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with stakeholders and executives while balancing technical tradeoffs with engineers.

Focus areas include building and operating BMS, EPMS, and SCADA systems across new and retrofit sites, leveraging data-driven dashboards to boost reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with data centers.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects involving Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for Greenfield and Brownfield sites, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Respond to and resolve incidents related to critical infrastructure using BMS and EPMS data; coordinate with vendors and implement preventative measures.
• Collect and analyze operational data and incident reports to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations teams and vendors to mitigate identified risks.
