Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to lead cross-team initiatives on the Service Platform in Austin. You’ll drive technical projects, apply lifecycle practices, and communicate progress to stakeholders to keep programs aligned with business goals.

The role requires 2+ years in a TPM-like position, strong collaboration, and a background in technology. A 4-year CS/Engineering degree is expected; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role.
• Experience leading technical projects and Agile ceremonies independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
• Background in technology strongly preferred; 4 year degree in CS/Engineering; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of technical projects within a small set of teams and across boundaries.
• Apply software development lifecycle, program management, and engineering practices.
• Track schedules, maintain docs, and manage risk mitigation plans.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and ensure alignment with goals.
• Apply systems thinking to connect people, process, and technology.
• Identify and implement process improvements using established tools and techniques.
• Support product lifecycle discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Create clear, concise communication materials for diverse audiences.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered tools and measure impact on productivity and quality.

Education

B.S. in CS/Engineering

PMP certification (or similar)
