Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to support architecture and platform delivery initiatives within a cloud-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of software development and cloud architecture, along with experience managing complex technical programs, Agile delivery processes, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the intake, prioritization, tracking, and delivery of architecture and platform-related initiatives.
  • Partner with architects, senior developers, and DevOps teams to plan and execute technical projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead delivery efforts related to platform modernization, cloud migration, and security enhancement projects.
  • Translate technical requirements into clear project scopes, timelines, milestones, and delivery plans.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, constraints, and tradeoffs, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and technical planning sessions including backlog refinement, intake reviews, and sprint planning activities.
  • Provide Agile coaching and guidance to development teams to improve delivery effectiveness and team collaboration.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to identify process improvements, remove bottlenecks, and enhance delivery predictability and quality.
  • Coordinate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure project alignment and transparency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within technical delivery and project management processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Technical Program Manager, or in a related technical leadership role.
  • Strong technical foundation with knowledge of software development methodologies and cloud architecture principles.
  • Hands‑on experience or strong familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud‑native technologies.
  • Experience working directly with architects, senior engineers, and DevOps teams.
  • Proven experience coaching or leading teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, technical delivery processes, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior software development or engineering experience.
  • Experience within airline, travel, or transportation industries.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, data platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience supporting architecture governance, platform teams, or technology standards initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid‑Agile, or scaled delivery environments.
