Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company.

You will explain analyses to executives and discuss tradeoffs with engineers. Google Cloud delivers enterprise-grade solutions worldwide, helping customers transform and grow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of program management experience.
  • Experience in infrastructure engineering or service performance/quality.
  • Experience with infrastructure projects across software, hardware, data centers, or networking.

Responsibilities

  • Review Google's network architecture standards.
  • Coordinate with internal business owners to gather drivers and deadlines for delivering colocation space and infrastructure.
  • Design spaces that meet current needs while allowing future flexibility.
  • Evaluate data center facilities against internal reliability requirements.
  • Create high-level project plans outlining resources and critical paths.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in program management.
  • Experience working on infrastructure engineering teams or experience in service performance or quality.
  • Experience with infrastructure projects (e.g., across software, hardware, data center, or networking).
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working on evaluating data center infrastructure and designing cages and associated infrastructure.
  • Practical experience managing large-scale projects in a matrixed environment.

US: $116000 - $165000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
