Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects across the AI and Infrastructure teams. Applicants may contribute from Austin, TX or Addison, TX, working with engineers and executives to drive requirements, schedules, and tradeoffs.

You will partner with stakeholders to plan, track, and communicate program impact while navigating data center deployments and large-scale analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of program management experience.
  • Experience with data center or networking deployments.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand program goals, deliverables, and impact.
  • Prioritize goals, translate stakeholder needs into actionable plans, and contribute to prioritization decisions.
  • Define project scopes and develop or manage project plans for supported programs.
  • Review metrics, monitor deviations, and define corrective actions for critical issues.
  • Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to drive impact and mutual goals.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with data center or networking deployments.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Familiarity with network planning and engineering, including data center network engineering in complex environments.

US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work issues and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute or manage project plans for supported programs.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
