Job summary

Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business. A Technical Program Manager at Google will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage risks, and communicate across cross-functional partners.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and executives to explain analyses and tradeoffs, while focusing on infrastructure, data centers, and network design across Addison, Reston, and other U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience in program management.
• Experience working on infrastructure engineering teams or experience in service performance or quality.
• Experience with infrastructure projects (e.g., across software, hardware, data center, or networking).

• Review and thoroughly understand Google's network architecture standards.
• Communicate with internal business owners to collect drivers and deadlines for delivering colocation space and associated infrastructure.
• Design spaces that meet today's needs along with maintain flexibility for the future.
• Evaluate data center facilities to ensure they meet internal reliability requirements.
• Create high-level project plans that identify resource needs and critical paths.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with infrastructure projects (e.g., across software, hardware, data center, or networking).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working on evaluating data center infrastructure and designing cages and associated infrastructure.
• Practical experience managing large-scale projects in a matrixed environment.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $116000 - $165000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
