Job summary

Valon is rebuilding the mortgage servicing industry and seeks a Technical Program Manager to coordinate complex data deployment workstreams across data, deployment strategy, engineering and product teams. You will shape and launch our TPM function and drive successful delivery of our most critical initiatives.

As the second TPM, you will influence vision and best practices while thriving in a dynamic startup environment. Fintech experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in a fast-paced, complex software environment.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, cross-functional technical programs.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive risk mitigation.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
• Prior fintech team experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End Program Management: own planning, execution and delivery of complex programs from conception through launch.
• Drive Cross-Functional Coordination: coordinate data, deployment strategy, engineering and product teams.
• Optimize Development Processes: identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Manage Stakeholder Expectations: communicate status, risks and dependencies clearly.
• Mitigate Risks and Resolve Issues: proactively address roadblocks impacting delivery.
• Define and Track Metrics: establish success metrics and provide data-driven insights.
• Contribute to Team Growth: help shape TPM vision, strategy and best practices at Valon.
