Job summary

Google Data Centers team leads the design, build, and operation of reliable data center infrastructure globally. The Technical Program Manager will oversee complex, multidisciplinary projects from requirements planning to execution, coordinating across internal teams and external partners.

You’ll drive schedules, budgets, and risk management for Greenfield and retrofit sites, with a strong focus on BMS and EPMS systems and operations optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with data centers.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects, such as those involving Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for both Greenfield and Brownfield sites, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Respond to and resolve incidents related to critical infrastructure using data from BMS and EPMS; coordinate with vendors and implement preventative measures.
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational teams and vendors to mitigate risks.
