Prodapt ASIC Services (formerly Innovative Logic) seeks a Hardware Project Manager to drive successful delivery of SoC/interconnect and memory controller solutions. You will join the Hardware Program Management team to develop project plans for hardware IP development, post-silicon, and commercialization programs for the device market.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams to craft schedules, resources, and milestones, and you will anticipate risks while driving effective mitigation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; Master’s or PhD may substitute for experience.
  • Experience with ASIC design, silicon validation and IP integration and release.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Familiarity with source control and defect-tracking tools.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Multitask to manage multiple geographically diverse projects at various completion phases.
  • Lead cross-functional team meetings to develop project schedules, resource plans, and metrics.
  • Identify and drive resolution of program issues and conflicts among engineering groups.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Innovate and improve program management metrics and processes.

Prodapt ASIC Services (formerly Innovative Logic) provides end-to-end SoC/ASIC, FPGA, and embedded software solutions. Our design services cover the complete lifecycle from RTL to GDSII, covering domains like 3nm node physical design, UVM verification, DFT, and silicon bring-up for 5G, AI, and IoT.

Job Summary

As a Hardware Project Manager, you will contribute to the successful delivery of SoC system interconnect and memory controller solutions designed by customer. You will join our Hardware Program Management team to develop project plans supporting hardware IP development programs, including post-silicon and commercialization programs for the device market. To succeed in this role, you ideally have a good understanding of hardware engineering lifecycle and knowledge in SoC product development.

  • You are skilled at multitasking to manage multiple geographically diverse projects at various completion phases simultaneously. You organize and lead cross-functional team meetings to develop project schedules, resource plan, functional team key performance metrics and overall project plans of records.
  • You thrive on identifying and driving the resolution of program issues and conflicts among different engineering groups by using effective communication and influencing skills. You to troubleshoot program issues and help to develop alternative program tasks, schedules, milestones, resource plans, processes etc.
  • You are good at determining risks, developing mitigation strategies, and communicating information to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have a fresh mindset that challenges the conventional. You are driven by future-oriented changes and will take an active role in innovating and improving the current program management metrics and processes.
  • Passionate about driving the implementation of best practices in project management to streamline the IP deliverables.
  • You are an exceptional communicator who carries a leadership presence to develop top-quality presentations that are concise and engaging.
  • Highly organized and trusted with gathering information from engineering teams across the organization in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, or 3+ years of experience with a Master’s Degree, or 2+ years of experience with a PhD
  • Experience with ASIC design, silicon validation and IP Integration and release.
  • Experience working with Linux/Unix environment ( Especially dealing with file transfer)
  • Familiarity with standard software development methodologies including source control (Git, Perforce, etc..,)
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc..,)
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies • Experience with project schedule and resource management tools, advanced Excel, power-point
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Linux Android, Windows OS).
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Detail and action oriented, self-starter, leader, delegator and motivator.
