Job description

Program Manager (Contract)

Location: Remote

Base pay range: $70.00/hr - $74.00/hr

Summary: Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. Drive program/project schedules and status reports. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross‑functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: Work on P0 priority items – security networking, incident management.
• Key projects: Contribute to large‑scale projects across OPG, interacting with 150 service teams; assist in incident management within the RNR team.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: 60% collaboration with outside teams, 40% within team.

Program/Execution Skills

• Drives end‑to‑end program ownership: roadmaps, dependencies, risks, alignment.
• Skilled at building and landing governance frameworks and program operating rhythms.
• Comfortable with ambiguity → structure → action.
• Excellent at coordinating engineering + finance + PM + leadership.

Ideal background

• Data & analytical skills.

• Excel/PowerBI experience (even if not heavy modeling).
• Experience with SRE, livesite processes, incident/root‑cause workflows.
