Job summary

Trane Technologies in Lexington, KY is seeking a data and configuration management specialist to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and auditing of configuration management and bill of materials across multiple systems, ensuring data integrity. You will translate design and manufacturing requirements into practical tools and processes.

You will collaborate with engineering, product support, and manufacturing to deliver accurate data products, build analytic workflows and visualizations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent OR Associate’s Degree (Electrical or Mechanical Design is desired) and 2 years of Trane Commercial Product experience is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related experience is required

• Oversee implementation, maintenance, and auditing of configuration management and bill of materials across multiple systems to ensure data integrity.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to convert requirements from design, engineering, product support, and manufacturing into effective supporting tools and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and application issues reported by customers, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Ensure delivery of accurate and reliable data products by thoroughly reviewing both personal work and the work of others.
• Work with cross-functional teams to create and maintain analytic workflows and data visualizations that support business objectives.

Role Responsibilities

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent degree OR Associate’s Degree (Electrical or Mechanical Design is desired) and 2 years of Trane Commercial Product experience is preferred

Key Competencies:

• Working knowledge of computer-aided graphic systems; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of product definition and configuration concepts preferred.
• Must be able to function in a technical engineering team environment.
• Ability to work both individually and in cross-functional teams.
• High attention-to-detail and solid communication skills.
• Self-motivated and tenacious.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Willing to learn and ask questions.
• Ability to travel – Expected travel - 10%

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$66,816.66 - $93,309.99
