Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a billing-focused professional to support purchase orders, invoicing, and customer communications. This role involves coordinating service documents, ship date estimations, and distribution of IOMs to customers.

The ideal candidate has at least a one-year certificate and 3+ years of related billing experience, with strong communication and independent work capability. The position offers some on-site work with flexible location on Fridays and a supportive benefits

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders and reconcile PO issues/invoice reconciliation.
• Process documents for service work requests and freight claims.
• Prepare and update customer job/order status sheets.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Assist with new order credit approval process.
• Obtain Trane and vendor estimated ship dates and update schedules.
• Inform customers about shipping updates.
• Distribute IOMs to customers and manage installation & maintenance manuals (IOMs).
• Support distribution and receipt of submittals.
• Handle general administrative tasks to support equipment fulfillment.

Where Is The Work

Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for issuing purchase orders and reconciling purchase order issues/ invoice reconciliation.
• Process documents for service work requests and freight claims.
• Prepare and update customer job/ order status sheets.
• Communicate effectively with other team members.
• Assist with new order credit approval process.
• Obtain Trane and vendor estimated ship dates and update appropriate schedules.
• Assist with communication to customers regarding shipping updates.
• Forward warranty standard documents to customers.
• Manage receipt of installation operation and maintenance manuals (IOMs).
• Distribute IOMs to customers.
• Assist with distribution and receipt of submittals.
• Responsible for general administrative functions to support the equipment fulfillment process.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• One-year certificate from college or technical school and three (3) plus years of related billing experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
• Participate in and contribute to lean improvements activities.
• Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.
• Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.
