Job summary

The US Tool Group is seeking a Technical Product Specialist in Phoenix, AZ to support cutting tool applications and process improvements across our manufacturing customers. You will interpret prints, analyze tooling performance, and collaborate with engineers to drive tool solutions from concept through production.

• Greater than 5 years in a manufacturing environment using cutting tools and abrasives.
• At least 5 years of machining experience.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, PPE, abrasives, and tool applications.
• Ability to interpret complex prints and models.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tooling needs and release tooling to production per customer specs.
• Assist with tooling performance checks and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineers to recommend tooling/process improvements.
• Lead projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support reconditioning programs and supplier visits.
• Provide application support for new products.
