Job summary

US Tool Group is seeking a Technical Product Specialist with extensive machining and tooling experience. You will ensure tooling meets customer specifications, assist with performance checks, and work with engineers to determine tooling needs.

The role emphasizes process improvement and support for new products and reconditioning programs. The ideal candidate has strong math skills, can interpret complex prints, and communicates effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing with cutting tools and abrasives.
• Machining experience with ability to read complex prints/models.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, PPE, abrasives, and tool applications.
• Process improvement experience.
• Ability to lead projects and analyze data.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tooling released to production meets customer requirements.
• Perform routine inspection of tooling and assist performance checks.
• Collaborate with engineers to determine tooling needs.
• Troubleshoot product applications and support new products.
• Improve existing processes and tooling applications.
• Support the reconditioning program and supplier visits.
