Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Preferred: cryptocurrency or blockchain products, payment routing logic, API-first platforms; MiCA/PCI DSS familiarity.

A leading global fintech company operating in the payments and digital assets sector - are seeking Technical Product Owners to support multiple product streams, translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications and ensuring successful product delivery.

The role is heavily focused on requirements gathering, documentation, backlog ownership, and stakeholder management. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Executive teams, you will be responsible for creating clear technical requirements, prioritising initiatives, and driving product outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and UML sequence diagrams.

Translate business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements.

Manage and prioritise product backlogs.

Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready specifications.

Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and compliance teams.

Participate in API and integration discussions.

Conduct process mapping and gap analysis.

Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress.

Identify delivery risks and proactively drive solutions.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Senior Product Owner.

Experience within fintech, payments, banking technology, or another regulated industry.

Strong TRD, BRD, and UML documentation skills.

Understanding of APIs, integrations, and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.

Experience managing product backlogs and delivery lifecycles.

Knowledge of payment systems, PSP integrations, and payment flows.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Experience:

Cryptocurrency or blockchain products.

Payment orchestration and routing logic.

API-first platform products.

MiCA, VASP, or PCI DSS familiarity.

Alternative payment methods including SEPA, SWIFT, and bank transfers.
