We are hiring a Technical Product Owner- Remote.

The Technical Product Owner manages the product backlog, aligns stakeholders, and supports the team in delivering products aligned with the roadmap. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional groups to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and market trends.
• Research and contribute to the product roadmap, focusing on device transition needs.
• Prioritize features and create user stories based on value and feasibility.
• Maintain certification calendars and firmware plans with 12-month visibility.
• Translate product plans into actionable tasks with Engineering teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks impacting delivery.

Requirements Management

• Gather and document detailed requirements, translating technical and non-technical needs.
• Define acceptance criteria and measurement methods for releases.
• Ensure solutions fit within the overall business architecture, coordinating with various departments.

Team Collaboration & Release Management

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Manage product request processes for visibility and prioritization.
• Communicate plans, statuses, and solicit feedback across teams.

Quality Assurance

• Work with QA to ensure features meet requirements.
• Monitor UAT to validate product expectations.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years’ experience with regulated IoT and sensor devices.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar in tech environments.
• Strong understanding of product development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of industry trends.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
