Job summary

PNC is seeking a Technical Product Owner I within its Data, Modeling and Analytics organization, based in Pittsburgh, PA. The role blends product ownership with strong business analysis to support enterprise backend platforms in a highly regulated setting.

You will translate business needs into actionable product direction, partner with business leaders and technology teams, and guide delivery to align with architectural standards and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments.
Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.
Technical aptitude supporting backend platforms, enterprise systems, or complex data-driven solutions.
Experience managing multiple products, initiatives, or concurrent workstreams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively within Agile and Scrum frameworks.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Change Navigator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Experience with Change@PNC methodology requirements, including Change Navigator administration, project lifecycle awareness, development of high-quality business requirements and acceptance criteria in Jira, and familiarity with 1LOD and 2LOD risk management engagement practices

Responsibilities

Owns the vision and the definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the customer. Provides guidance to concentrate the Scrum Team(s) effort on correct priorities.
Conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to meet business objectives.
Participates in the creation and maintenance of the product backlog. Prioritize the product backlog and leads grooming efforts.
Works in partnership with the Scrum Master(s) to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog. Serves as the primary point of contact for questions from the team(s).
Accepts delivery of working product from the Scrum Teams(s). Socializes the delivery of business value and outcomes of the iteration to various stakeholders.
