Job summary

CertiPath is seeking a Technical Product Owner to drive the product lifecycle from release planning through delivery. You will partner with Product Management, lead developers and QA analysts, and actively participate in code reviews of .NET/C# projects.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development and prioritizing technical debt alongside features. The position is remote (East Coast or Central U.S.) with responsibilities spanning roadmap shaping, sprint leadership, and stakeholder demos,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent hands-on software development experience.
• 6+ years as a Product Owner
• 3+ years of professional software development experience, or ability to read and review production code.
• Experience with Atlassian Agile products (JIRA and Confluence)
• Led distributed development teams across multiple U.S. time zones.
• Comfortable with code reviews and core software engineering concepts
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem to review PRs and provide feedback.
• Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows Server)
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants or LLM-based tools in development workflows

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management to shape the roadmap and lead a team of developers and QA analysts.
• Review code, evaluate design tradeoffs, and prioritize technical debt alongside features.
• Lead release planning, break epics into stories, and manage the Jira backlog.
• Present feature demos to stakeholders and gather feedback.
• Guide sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives; ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Review test coverage and code quality metrics for delivered functionality.
• Ensure security requirements and coding standards are followed.
