Job summary
Royper Royco LLC is seeking an AI Product Owner to lead the roadmap for AI security products, governance, and risk controls in a remote United States-based role. You will translate complex security and regulatory requirements into actionable backlogs and delivery plans, bridging security leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
You will own the product vision, drive sprint planning, define success metrics, and collaborate with security, legal, risk, and AI teams to strengthen AI
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product ownership or management.
- 2+ years focused on AI/ML, data platforms, or security products.
- Knowledge of AI lifecycle risks (model risk, data poisoning, prompt injection).
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act).
- Experience in cybersecurity or GRC organizations.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the AI security product backlog and governance initiatives.
- Translate security and regulatory requirements into user stories and delivery plans.
- Collaborate with security, AI/data science, legal, risk, and architecture teams to align priorities.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release reviews with AI engineers.
- Define and track KPIs for AI security posture and policy adoption.
- Prepare executive updates and roadmaps for leadership.
