Talent Acquisition Manager | Finding the Brains Behind the Brainwaves
Position Summary:
Cadwell is seeking a highly capable Technical Product Owner to lead the vision, planning, and execution of CadLink, our enterprise database and integration platform for neurodiagnostic and neuromonitoring solutions. This position bridges the gap between engineering and business by translating complex technical needs and strategic goals into a well-defined product roadmap and actionable development plans.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in software, systems, or infrastructure, and thrives in a cross-functional environment. As the Technical Product Owner, you will guide backlog prioritization, facilitate Agile meetings, lead internal demos, and help drive decision-making across development, support, marketing, and customer-facing teams. You will also play a hands-on role in documentation, technical guidance, and troubleshooting escalated product issues.
This is a key leadership role focused on delivering enterprise-grade, scalable solutions for healthcare environments—requiring strong product sense, technical acumen, and clear communication.
This position can be located at company headquarters in Kennewick, WA or remote.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional CadLink Roadmap Planning: Define and manage the product roadmap in collaboration with engineering, UX, support, marketing, and other stakeholders to align with strategic goals.
- CadLink Backlog Grooming and Maintenance: Prioritize and refine the product backlog to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with customer and business needs.
- CadLink Meeting Leadership: Facilitate agile ceremonies and other key meetings, including planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder updates.
- Comprehensive CadLink Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for both internal teams and external customers, including product requirements, release notes, and integration guides.
- Code Reviews: Participate in and provide feedback on CadLink code reviews to ensure alignment with product goals and maintain technical quality.
- Technical Guidance and Direction: Offer strategic technical insight and direction to the CadLink development team to support decision-making and architectural planning.
- Internal Product Demonstrations: Conduct regular demos of new CadLink features and enhancements to keep internal stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Escalated Support Management: Act as a point of contact for resolving complex CadLink issues escalated by support teams, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Education / Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with networking (not exclusively Windows).
- Experience with server configuration and maintenance and related IT infrastructure.
- An understanding of scalability concepts (horizontal vs. vertical, etc.).
- Familiarity with the following technologies/concepts:
-MS SQL
-SQLite
-Failover clustering (or other high availability techniques)
-Citrix & VMWare Horizon
-AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
Preferred:
- Experience with medical device software development (Desktop, Web, Mobile, Cloud)
- Familiarity with C# and WCF
- Experience with healthcare IT specific requirements (permissions, HIPAA, EMR/HL7 integration, Billing…)
- Experience with healthcare IT use and workflow requirements (healthcare professional roles, healthcare professional facing IT infrastructure (tablets, phones, barcode scanners etc.)).
Job Knowledge / Requirements:
- Communicate clearly and professionally through listening, speaking, and writing skills; remain professional and solutions-focused while interacting with internal and external partners.
- Develop understanding and knowledge of Cadwell products and components.
- Build effective long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
- Complete work both independently and as an effective member of the team, adapting to changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities as needed.
- Competency in computer skills: MS Office and Google applications, query tools, and database systems, and Engineering applications; Comfortable with new technologies, computers, and application software.
- Strong English written and oral communication skills required, including understanding, explaining, presenting and documenting complex technical processes and concepts.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Positions working with Cadwell equipment generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.
- Use of computer
- Occasional travel required (approximately 5-10%); must be able to obtain necessary travel documents, and possess a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance. Travel may include visits to company headquarters or customer sites, typically no more than once per quarter.
- May be required to register with a vendor credentialing service. As part of this process, may be required to submit personal information to a credentialing service company, to provide proof of vaccinations or related medical information, and to comply with other requirements needed to be able to work at customer site. May be required to complete US federal background check and requirements for access to US government facilities and/or government IT networks; terms of federal contracts may require US citizenship only.
- Work hours outside normal business hours may be required to meet business needs
