Jobtailor seeks a Senior Product Marketing professional to own strategic positioning for developer-facing products and to ensure messaging is differentiated, technically accurate, and consistent across channels to improve conversion and pipeline quality.

You will lead go-to-market and launch strategy, pricing and packaging decisions, and align cross-functional teams to drive revenue. Strong writing, analytical skills, and API/AI experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product marketing or technical marketing for API-first or developer tools.
  • Experience taking technical products to market with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong English writing for technical and business audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with funnel metrics, adoption data, and win/loss analysis.
  • Hands-on development experience is a strong plus.
  • Background in AI/ML data ecosystems and developer tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and synthesize insights to guide GTM strategy and inform roadmap, pricing, and positioning decisions.
  • Contribute to discoverability and selection by AI agents through documentation, content, and integrations.
  • Own sales enablement, providing customer-facing teams with tools, content, and knowledge to sell and support products.
  • Write and own copy for product pages, launch content, technical comparisons, and enablement materials.
  • Contribute to channel and campaign strategy, brand narrative, thought-leadership themes, and partner programs.

  • Contribute to channel and campaign strategy, brand narrative, thought-leadership themes, and partner and ecosystem programs
  • Read documentation, run API calls, and test marketed products from the user’s perspective
Requirements
  • 5+ years in product marketing or technical marketing, ideally for API-first, data, infrastructure, or developer tools products
  • Proven experience taking technical products to market and running cross-functional programs involving Product, Sales, Growth, and DevRel teams
  • Technical fluency: understanding of how software gets built, the development lifecycle, how developers evaluate and adopt tools, the AI ecosystem, and the role of coding agents and modern coding environments in day-to-day development work
  • Strong writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences
  • Analytical mindset; comfortable with funnel metrics, adoption data, and win/loss analysis
  • Hands-on development experience; a current or former developer is a strong advantage
  • Background in AI/ML data ecosystems, including training data, RAG, agents, and MCP
  • Experience with both self-serve (PLG) and enterprise sales motions
