Job summary

Motorola Solutions' Silvus Technologies in Irvine, CA is seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Manager (Spectrum Dominance) to own technical requirements, backlog, and revenue growth. You will translate complex DoD needs into software features for MN-MIMO and StreamCaster platforms, aligning R&D with engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams.

This role is hybrid with some remote capability; travel up to 25–50% is expected for field testing and customer engagements. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of technical product management or systems engineering in defense, aerospace, or wireless.
• Strong knowledge of signal processing, RF systems, SDRs, DSP, or MANETs.
• Ability to translate complex algorithms and military use cases into software requirements and user stories.
• Ability to influence cross-functional R&D, engineering, operations, and sales to meet release timelines.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Translate abstract DoD mission requirements into structured user stories and technical specifications.
• Translate complex LPI/LPD and anti-jamming techniques into clear features and operator experiences.
• Own the end-to-end software and firmware backlog and user experience for spectrum dominance features.
• Ensure waveform integration with MN-MIMO architecture and StreamCaster hardware.
• Conduct sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences via Jira.
• Capture operational feedback and field results to evolve backlog user stories.
