Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own platform strategy and roadmaps for MVH core capabilities, bridging business, product and engineering teams. You will translate complex dependencies into reusable APIs, drive adoption, and ensure scalable, secure infrastructure.

Responsibilities include aligning roadmaps, managing releases, and guiding agile teams to deliver value while maintaining security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in a technical program or project management role.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, or similar).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars within self and team.
• Platform Strategy & Roadmapping.
• Establish product roadmaps, release plans, and lifecycle management that satisfy requirements across the product portfolio.
• Synthesize requirements from multiple stakeholders to build common, reusable capabilities.
• Adoption & Change Management.
• Champion the platform to drive internal adoption and evangelism across the organization. Ensure high-quality documentation, clean APIs, onboarding resources, and a superior customer and developer experience.
• Project Management & Execution.
• Guide engineering teams to scope, plan, and deliver work within established agile methodologies. Proactively identify and resolve technical blockers and cross-team dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Technical & Risk Management
• Ensure the platform complies with security, privacy, and regulatory standards. Make strategic "build, buy, or partner" decisions for platform solutions.
• Performance & Metrics
• Define, track, and communicate relevant platform KPIs and usage metrics to monitor overall system health and business value.
