Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd. is seeking a Technical Product Manager for RF, DSP, and FPGA embedded products in Huntsville, AL. You will own strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for RF, DSP, and FPGA-based COTS solutions, translating complex technical tradeoffs into market-ready products.

The role requires strong engineering background, experience with RF/DSP theory in real hardware, and collaboration with engineering, sales, and customers to drive product success from concept through launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline required.
• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or related defense/embedded tech markets.
• Strong understanding of RF-to-digital signal chain and FPGA processing.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Strong communication with engineering, sales, customers, suppliers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions within the portfolio.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs and technology trends.
• Translate system-level requirements into product strategies and requirements.
• Develop business cases and present recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead concept definition and support the NPI process from requirements to launch.
• Evaluate competitive products, architectures, and form factors.
• Manage product-line financial performance including revenue, cost, profitability, and investments.
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements, differentiation, and priorities.
• Engage with sales, customers, and partners to identify market opportunities.
• Participate in customer engagements and provide technical support during complex discussions.
• Create technical presentations, product collateral, and training materials.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend enhancements or lifecycle changes.
• Influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
• Communicate complex RF, DSP, FPGA concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
