Caterpillar is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Cat Digital to help create the next generation of digital solutions that drive enterprise growth in sales and aftermarket services. You will define product requirements, technical solutions, and roadmaps with emphasis on reuse and value across the enterprise.

Lead multiple scrum teams, manage the product backlog, and own the release strategy. Located in Chicago or Peoria, IL, relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of business analysis tools and methods to identify business needs and deliver stakeholder value.
• Ability to make informed decisions through structured thinking and data.
• Clear, effective communication with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
• Understanding of software product business aspects and how to manage install base and future plans.
• Awareness of software engineering practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product value and define work for multiple scrum teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Systems Engineering, Data and Analytics to own Epics and Features.
• Own the Technical Product Backlog decisions and priorities.
• Communicate Product Backlog priorities to the team.
• Act as key decision-maker on features and release timing and content.
• Articulate product vision and ensure the team understands it.
• Define acceptance criteria for features and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to represent their needs.
