Job summary

The Principal Systems Architect at Caterpillar’s Cat Digital leads the MarTech architecture, defining target-state and executable roadmaps for an integrated, secure and scalable ecosystem across content, assets, web experience and omnichannel activation.

You will design scalable architectures, guide data governance, and partner with marketing and engineering to deliver measurable digital transformations that drive business value.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading architecture across global digital transformation projects.
• Deep enterprise DXP experience with AEM, Contentful, Uniform or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own current-state, transition and target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap.
• Develop architecture deliverables translating requirements into design.
• Design infrastructure including databases and testing approaches.
• Partner with business, product, marketing, data, security and engineering teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and communicate recommendations to executives.
