Job summary

Maverick Technology Partners is seeking a Technical Procurement Analyst for a Hybrid role in New York City. You will support the end-to-end lifecycle of SaaS, software, cloud, and IT service vendors, negotiating renewals and coordinating due diligence.

Responsibilities include tracking contracts, PO creation, and cross-functional coordination with Legal, Privacy, Security, and Finance to ensure compliant vendor engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology procurement or IT vendor management.
• Experience supporting SaaS and cloud vendor engagements.
• Familiarity with privacy and security review coordination (DPAs).

Technical Procurement Analyst - Contract / Contract to Fulltime - Hybrid in New York City

No C2C - Must be able to work without sponsorship

We are seeking a Technical Procurement Analyst to support the end-to-end lifecycle of SaaS, software, cloud, and IT service vendors. This role will negotiate software and SAAS renewals and manage vendor onboarding, coordinate due diligence.

This position partners closely with Technology, Security, Privacy, Legal, Finance, and Accounts Payable to ensure compliant, efficient, and timely vendor engagements.

What You’ll Do

• Support sourcing and procurement of SaaS platforms, software licenses, cloud services, and IT consulting
• Assist with pricing validation, renewals, and commercial term review
• Lead negotiations with software and SaaS vendors on maintenance and support renewal pricing, terms, and service levels- Track contract renewals

Contract Lifecycle Management

• Track contract status, approvals, and signatures
• Support Data Processing Agreement (DPA) coordination and documentation

Purchase Orders & Payment Support

• Create and manage purchase orders aligned to approved contracts and budgets

What You Bring

• ~5 years of experience in technology procurement or IT vendor management
• Experience supporting SaaS and cloud vendor engagements
• Familiarity with privacy and security review coordination (including DPAs)
• Experience using Contract Lifecycle Management systems (Ironclad preferred)
• Hands-on experience creating purchase orders in ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple vendor workflows simultaneously
• Proven experience negotiating software/SaaS maintenance and support renewals, including pricing, terms, and escalations, in partnership with Legal
