Role description:

Arcadis Intelligence offers commercial solutions focused on Asset Management and transportation-related software technologies. The Technical Pre-Sales Consultant will work closely with sales teams, product owners, and customers to demonstrate solutions, support bids, and translate customer needs into actionable product requirements. The role involves technical demonstrations, solution architecture, bid support, and customer engagement, reporting to the Intelligence Sales Operations Director. The position is location-flexible within the US.

Role accountabilities:
  1. Pre-sales Technical Support: Support sales teams with technical expertise, deliver presentations, and act as a technical focal point during pre-sales activities.
  2. Demonstration Development: Design and deliver compelling product demos tailored to customer needs, enhancing the demonstration toolkit.
  3. Conference and Event participation: Represent Arcadis at industry events, contribute to the company stand, and participate in speaking opportunities.
  4. Solution Architecture Design: Translate customer requirements into effective solution designs and identify unmet needs for product development.
  5. Product Proposals: Collaborate with product managers to inform roadmaps based on customer insights.
Qualifications & Experience:

Candidates should understand customer journeys, sales cycles, and bid processes, with proven ability to create and demonstrate solutions in Asset Management. Effective communication and bid writing skills are essential. Travel within the region may be required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Understanding of sales and bid management processes.
  • Technical ability in Asset Management solutions and communication skills to demonstrate value.
  • Customer-oriented approach and bid writing proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IAM Certification or Diploma
  • B2B Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Asset Investment Planning experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software
  • R/Python coding skills
