Job summary

Epia Neuro in Alameda, CA, is seeking a Technical Project Manager, Software & Firmware, to drive planning and execution for software and firmware projects supporting our implantable brain-computer interface system. You will work with engineering leads to turn priorities into executable plans and manage schedules through development, verification, and release.

As the program grows, you may take broader ownership across the software program, while maintaining a focus on quality, regulatory

Qualifications

3–5+ years of technical project management on software/firmware/product-development teams.
Ability to plan, own schedules, manage risks and dependencies.
Experience partnering with software/firmware leads and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Own project planning and execution for software and firmware initiatives from kickoff through release.
Build and own project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
Lead planning cadence using Jira and Confluence, including sprint planning and dashboards.
Collaborate with Software and Firmware engineering leads to translate priorities into executable plans and resolve blockers.
Drive the planning and completion of regulated software deliverables with Quality and Regulatory, including IEC 62304 lifecycle documentation and cybersecurity reviews.
Manage cross-functional dependencies to keep software/firmware projects aligned with broader milestones.
