Job summary

Uniloy INC in Tecumseh, MI is seeking a Technical Parts Sales Representative to drive OEM replacement parts revenue by leveraging mechanical knowledge to diagnose customer needs and match them to the right part, upgrade, or service solution.

You will read machine drawings, prepare accurate quotations, and coordinate with service, training, and mold teams to ensure quotes translate into orders while maintaining account visibility through Salesforce.

Qualifications

Genuine mechanical aptitude with ability to read schematics, exploded diagrams, and machine drawings.
Experience communicating with maintenance managers and plant technicians to qualify needs and quote accurately.
Sales-focused mindset with discipline to follow through on quotes and close opportunities.

Responsibilities

Sell OEM replacement parts by understanding the customer’s equipment, application, and failure mode.
Read machine drawings, exploded diagrams, and parts breakdowns to identify correct components and cross-reference alternates.
Prepare accurate quotations and process orders, confirming pricing, lead times, and configurations.
Use technical judgment to recommend upgraded or alternate parts when appropriate, in line with revenue and margin targets.
Drive timely follow-up on open quotations to convert opportunities into orders.
Utilize internal systems (Epicor, MFG/PRO, and Salesforce) to research parts, machine history, and customer activity.
Serve as the first contact for aftermarket requests, evaluating technical scope and directing non-parts opportunities to the right team.
Gather complete customer, machine, and application details before processing a request.
